KIDS: If You Wouldn’t Eat Your Dog, Then Why Eat a Turkey?

So PeTA is pushing an ad to guilt trip kids into eating their pets.  I think it is a good idea to keep a child open-minded, but eating cats and dogs is just unappealing.  The meat would be too gamey, except for cats…they got a lot of that good fat.  Speaking of which, I think I know what I'm going to be eating tonight.  Sorry Whiskers.

This week’s comic is about the joy of being vegan. Enjoy.

End of the World

So this might be it.  We can only hope the Mayans were as wrong about the end of the world as Mel Gibson is about Jews.  But thankfully, my Asian background allows me to always have a 5 year supply of rice and noodle cups.  And with that in mind, I will leave you with this:
"Don't work too hard to reach the top.  You will reach it and start heading downhill again without even noticing."

This week's comic is about living life to the end of the Mayan calender. Enjoy.

That Girl at the Bar

You know when you see the girl of your dreams at the bar, and you think, ‘I have to use the best, most original pick up line to win her heart over.’  Then you go over there and BLAM!  She takes a dump on your heart.  A literal dump.  But the thing is to keep your head up, because one day, that one true love might be taking a dump on your chest, and that’s when you know you've made it.

This week’s comic is about the reward of the struggle. Enjoy.

Finals Week

It is a war of student against teacher, and sleep is the mind’s worst enemy.  Yet when it is over, you can stand amongst your brothers and know that even without an A or a passing grade, you have still won a war.  It is time to pack up your bags and go back home to your loved ones.  Congrats to the students who finished finals week, you deserve a drink.

This week’s comic is about how intelligence is directly proportional to insanity. Enjoy.

It's Like Riding a Bike...

One saying I really hate is, “It’s like riding a bike. Once you learn, you never forget.”  How do you know how good my memory is?  Maybe I have amnesia?  Maybe I just smoked some weed?  It is offensive to assume that a bike rider will never forget, because at the end of the day we aren't elephants. We can forget.

This week’s comic is about the joys of riding, and the dangers of forgetting. Enjoy.

Global Warming in Chicago

So today I would like to discuss a serious subject, global warming.  The past few days have been irregularly hot, like really hot.  Although it feels nice to bask in the UV rays, I would feel a lot better seeing the snow and feeling that the earth is safe.  Knowing that the earth’s global temperature is on the rise, it frustrates me to see people deny global warming or that it has anything to do with humanity.  Even if humans aren't the cause, even if it is too late to change anything, wouldn't it be better to say that we at least tried?

This week’s comic is about keeping our mother earth a woman. Enjoy.

Losing the Lottery has its Benefits

You know that feeling hours before the lottery drawing?  You get to thinking, ‘I’m probably not going to win, but there is a chance I can win.’  If I learned anything from physics, it’s that nothing is impossible, only improbable.  Knowing that, I spent my last $4 on two powerball tickets hoping that I can beat the odds.  As I waited, I thought of how I could use the money if I won.  I could solve the world’s hunger and animal abuse problems.  But then greed and reality starts to sink in once things go your way…

As for this week's comic, it reminds us of how lucky we really are in life. Enjoy.

Every Cent Counts, Even $0.01 :)
